Love, this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Ethnic-Paris-Cookbook-Charlotte-Puckette\/dp\/0756626455\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1273113029&sr=1-1-spell\" target=\"_blank\">cookbook<\/a>. \u00a0So many recipes in here I want to make.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1\/2 cup sugar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2 large eggs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5 tablespoons honey<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 cup plus 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2 teaspoons baking soda<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4 tablespoons butter melted<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2 tablespoons pine nuts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 tablespoon honey, diluted with 1 teaspoon water<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter a 9-inch round cake pan<\/li>\n<li>In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until the sugar is\u00a0dissolved. Stir in the honey.<\/li>\n<li>In a separate bowl, stir the flour and baking soda with a fork to combine. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the sugar and egg mixture, then add the melted butter.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the batter in the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the cake from the oven; let stand for 5 minutes then invert onto a serving plate. In a small\u00a0saut\u00e9\u00a0pan, dry roast the pine nuts until lightly golden, then add the diluted honey. Spread the mixture evenly over the warm cake.
