{"id":1293,"date":"2012-02-26T22:50:13","date_gmt":"2012-02-26T22:50:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/juniorkitchen.com\/?p=1293"},"modified":"2012-02-26T22:51:47","modified_gmt":"2012-02-26T22:51:47","slug":"peanut-butter-dog-biscuits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorkitchen.com\/?p=1293","title":{"rendered":"Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/juniorkitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/dogtreat.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/juniorkitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/dogtreat.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"dogtreat\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1294\" srcset=\"https:\/\/juniorkitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/dogtreat.jpg 500w, https:\/\/juniorkitchen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/dogtreat-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n Our pup Lulu loves this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dogtreatkitchen.com\/peanut-butter-dog-biscuits.html\" target=\"_blank\">peanut butter with molasses biscuit<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>1 1\/2 cups whole wheat flour<br \/>\n1\/4 cup rolled oats<br \/>\n1 tsp. baking powder<br \/>\n3\/4 cup lowfat milk<br \/>\n1 cup chunky peanut butter<br \/>\n1 tbsp. molasses<br \/>\nunsweetened carob chips<\/p>\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 F<br \/>\nWhisk the flour, oats and baking powder together in a medium bowl.<br \/>\nGradually stir in the milk, peanut butter and molasses.<br \/>\nTurn out onto a floured surface.<br \/>\nKnead until a soft dough forms.<br \/>\nRoll out to 1\/2&#8243; thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter or dog bone cookie cutter.<br \/>\nBake for 20 minutes.<br \/>\nLet cool overnight in the oven or cool on a wire rack.<\/p>\n<p>After the the biscuits are cool, melt the carob in the microwave 10 seconds increments until soft. Be careful not to burn them.  A little water may be stirred in if necessary to get a liquid consistency.
